Northern Kids

The author goes in chronological order of stories that started all the way back in 1870 and goes until 2010. This novel is a collection of stories presented by children and there life during the time that is specified. From the smallpox plague to escaping a residential school. It also adds a history perspective to this novel by giving the facts after the short story is presented. Northern Kids shows just younger children saw Canada for the previous 5 lifetimes.

Recommendation: 
I liked this book. It was very interesting the way the author told each short story in first person, then was able to show some historical relevance to the actual story. Interesting.
