Carry Me Home

Celina's father has recently died and her whole family is still grieving. You follow Celina's process of grief and how she handles having to take on adult responsibilities to help her Mother and siblings out. Celina's mother remarries, which Celina does not like, but she is learning to deal with it when some unexpected news about who Celina's real father is revealed and changes her life for the summer. Celina learns a bit more about herself and what the meaning of family truly is.

Recommendation: 
Interesting read however there is no relation to Alaska besides the author being from Alaska. It is a good story about a young teenage girl finds out who she is and what family means.
